Postpartum Hygiene Kits
The postpartum period is a sacred yet challenging time for mothers. In Haiti, many women face intense hormonal changes while navigating sleepless nights, breastfeeding, and heavy bleeding.
Unfortunately, basic supplies like postpartum pads are often out of reach.
Many mothers resort to using ripped-up sheets instead of pads, which only adds to their stress during this critical time. No mother should have to worry about managing postpartum bleeding when she should be focused on healing and bonding with her baby.
That’s why we’re partnering with a generous seamstress in the US to provide reusable postpartum pads! Each mother will receive eight pads along with a pouch for used ones and a storage bag—all thanks to the kindness of donors.
We also include essentials like a toothbrush, toothpaste, and soap, sourcing these locally in Haiti.
